We're pleased to confirm that we have retained our A3 credit rating from Moody’s reflecting our organisation’s financial strength and resilience against a challenging economic backdrop. This comes after the retention of our G1/V1 rating from the Regulator of Social Housing in November 2022, demonstrating our effective governance and financial and operational resilience.
On Abri’s performance, Vimal Gaglani, Director of Treasury and Financial Planning at Abri said:
“We’re pleased to have retained our A3 rating, this demonstrates Abri’s ability to be flexible and resilient in delivering our strategic objectives as we navigate a challenging operating environment.
“Despite the UK’s high inflation, exposing Abri to weaker financial conditions, Moody’s have recognised Abri’s solid liquidity and strong market position which will enable us to continue delivering on our commitment to provide safe, warm and sustainable homes and support our customers through the cost of living crisis.”
Over the next ten years we will be investing £435m in our existing homes; improving building and fire safety, tackling issues like damp and mould and enabling all our homes to reach EPC C by 2030.
We're also continuing to build more homes where they’re needed most, averaging more than 1,000 homes a year. This is supported through our strategic partnership with Homes England, which provided £250m of grand funding.
