Abri is delighted to announce it has received the highest grading for the British Safety Council’s Five Star Occupational Health and Safety Audit. The five star rating demonstrates Abri’s commitment towards continually improving its health and safety management systems for its customers and colleagues.
On the achievement, Sarah Moore, Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing at Abri said:
“We’re delighted to achieve a five star rating from the British Safety Council; it demonstrates Abri’s commitment to keeping our health and safety measures to the highest standards. Being rated excellent doesn’t mean our journey stops here, we have a continuous improvement plan, meaning we’ll continue to push to ensure our customers and colleague stay safe.”
To achieve the rating Abri underwent a comprehensive evaluation process by the British Safety Council, of all its occupational health and safety policies, processes and practices. Abri’s audit was carried out through a thorough documentation review to evidence its systems and 50 colleagues across the business were interviewed including Abri’s Group Board Chair. Abri’s safety management performance was also benchmarked against key health and safety management best practice techniques.
Mike Robinson, CEO British Safety Council, said:
“The award of a five star grading following our occupational best practice Health and Safety Audit is an outstanding achievement and is reflective of a proactive organisation which is committed to continual improvement in its health and safety arrangements and managing risks to workers’ health, safety and wellbeing. Abri should be very proud of this achievement.
