Abri has announced the partners selected to join its £20.4m consultants framework, aimed at supporting the development of new homes across its operating regions. A total of 33 consultants have been chosen to assist in delivering Abri's £800 million construction programme, which is part of the organisation's commitment to building 10,000 homes by 2030. The consultants include architects, employer’s agents, clerk of works and principal designers.
As part of the tender process, the successful consultants have been asked to commit to providing social value through the framework agreement. The approach to this will be flexible, with details to be mutually agreed upon by Abri and its partners. This may include support for community initiatives, such as sponsorship, employment assistance, training, or contributions in the form of financial aid and equipment donations.
Additionally, the framework will be accessible to members of Wayfarer, a consortium that includes housing associations, local authorities, and charitable organisations, fostering collaboration and expertise to increase the number of homes built across the south of England.
Nicola O’Rourke, Director of Development at Abri said:
“We’re looking forward to collaborating with partners who share our commitment to creating communities that deliver lasting social value. This framework is about more than just building homes; it’s also about creating jobs and offering educational opportunities. By working together, with a focus on high-quality, sustainable homes, we can develop thriving communities that will grow in the years ahead.”
