We've exchanged contracts with Vistry Homes to deliver 70 affordable homes in Ottershaw, Surrey.
The new homes will be part of a larger development of 223 homes located off Brox Road, Ottershaw. Of the 70 affordable homes, 34 will be for affordable rent and 36 for shared ownership. The properties will be a mix of one and two bedroom flats, and one, two and three bedroom homes. 21 of the affordable homes will be delivered through grant funding thanks to Abri’s Strategic Partnership with Homes England.
On the homes, Fergus Cruikshank, Head of Land and Planning, at Abri said:
“With house prices in Surrey significantly above the national average and cost of living continuing to be a challenge for most, the provision of more affordable housing in the region is vital. Abri is delighted to be making this a reality by working once again in partnership with Vistry to deliver affordable homes in Ottershaw. This is part of Abri’s wider commitment to delivering affordable housing where it’s needed most, building an average of 1,000 homes a year.”
The development borders woodland and green space, is two miles from the nearest train station and four miles from Woking, with transport links available close by. The homes are due to be completed by 2026.
