We've exchanged contracts with Barratt David Wilson (BDW) to provide 46 affordable homes at the Townsend Landing development in Henstridge, Somerset.
The new homes are part of a larger development of 130 new homes being built by BDW at Townsend Landing. The 46 new affordable homes will include nine for shared ownership and 37 for social rent.
Work on the site will commence early next year and will feature a mixture of one, two, three and four-bedroom houses which are due for completion by 2026.
Sam Stone, Associate Director of Land and Planning at Abri said: “We’re delighted to be working with BDW to deliver new homes that will help to support the community in a fantastic location in Somerset. Working together we’re helping to deliver safe, warm and affordable homes where they’re needed.
“As well as this section 106 agreement we’re looking to deliver more homes through a land led approach. Abri is passionate about ensuring more people can step onto the housing ladder and be able to rent in an affordable way and we continue to work with our partners across our region to make this achievable.”
