Homes for social rent
If you're looking for social housing, you'll need to apply to the local authority in the area you are interested in living in rather than directly to us.
To be considered for a housing association tenancy at social or affordable rent, you usually have to be on the council’s housing register and you must meet certain eligibility criteria.
You can apply to the register online on your council’s housing services page, or by contacting the council directly to request an application form.

Other homes to rent
If you’re looking for Rent to Buy or Intermediate Rent homes, take a look at our available properties on the Abri Homes website here.
Independent Living
Our Independent Living schemes are designed to help you keep your independence. Homes are fully accessible and are designed to meet your current and future needs. You'll have your own front door, kitchen and bathroom, while enjoying communal spaces where you can socialise and connect with your neighbours.
Homes are available to rent or buy (depending on the property). And we welcome pets at many of our schemes. The age criteria is either 55+ or 60+, depending on which scheme you are applying for.
Extra Care
Extra Care schemes offer more support than Independent Living. They have care services available and onsite staff 24/7. Meal services are also available if you or your partner need them. Each apartment has an emergency alarm system to call for assistance.
We've got five Extra Care schemes in Somerset and one in Dorset. They're designed to make living independently easier, but they are not care homes. You'll still have your own apartment and your own front door.
