Our Community teams empower our customers and communities, improving lives and creating opportunities. With £15m investment into our communities between 2020-2025, our community investment teams are a busy bunch. They work with customers, communities, local organisations, and colleagues to deliver flexible, meaningful community plans. This includes supporting people into employment, health and wellbeing initiatives, and empowering people to make change happen.
We may be a large organisation but we have a local approach to housing management. With both office and customer-facing teams, we’re able to deliver a holistic approach to housing and tenancy management, ensuring our customers feel safe and supported in their homes and communities. Our dedicated teams support customers with community safety matters, as well as helping them maintain their tenancy and support them with their finances.
We provide specific accommodation tailored for customers wide range of support needs, for example, older people, people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities, mental health issues, survivors of domestic abuse and people with a history of homelessness. Our caring and customer focused Supported Housing teams have a genuine desire to go the ‘extra mile’ for customers and work in partnership with other agencies to ensure they can live independently for as long as possible.
We keep the income coming in, to sustain our business and ensure we can continue to provide our customers with the best possible service. Our Income Collection team provide our customers with a high quality service, ensuring tenancy sustainment and maximising Abri’s rental income stream.
And we don’t just manage rental properties, we manage a large portfolio of Homeownership properties too. We offer a specialist management service for leasehold and shared ownership customers. Our service includes managing legal agreements, providing advice on lease covenants, administrative and legislative obligations, collecting service charges and keeping homeowners in the loop for asset and works programmes affecting their property or the estate in which they live.
